VIVO

Overview

VIVO is a modular furniture system designed for compact living spaces, where adaptability and efficiency are essential. Composed of two interlocking plywood modules, the system can be rearranged to form a variety of functional pieces including chairs, tables, lounges, and shelving, responding to the shifting needs of urban life.
A perforated pattern across the plywood surfaces reduces weight while acting as a visual guide that reveals different points of connection and adjustment, helping users understand and explore the system’s many configurations. The modules are assembled through a simple wooden ball joinery that enables quick, intuitive construction while becoming a recognizable element of the project’s design language.
Developed in collaboration with ALPI Woods, the system integrates refined veneers that contrast with the raw plywood structure, offering a range of finishes that can adapt to different interiors and personal tastes.
Lightweight, reconfigurable, and designed to be moved, VIVO challenges the static nature of traditional furniture. The system proposes a flexible approach to furnishing, inviting users to experiment with new arrangements and gradually expand or transform the pieces as their needs change over time.
