NYCxDesign is New York City’s official design festival, a city-wide celebration of architecture, product, graphic, interior, and urban design. The 2026 edition, themed “Design Connects Us,” transforms NYC into a design hub with events across all boroughs, focusing on sustainability, technology, AI, and social impact.

Following its debut at Salone Satellite, Latent Surface arrives in New York in its second installation: a student-driven physical language model built from discarded material across Parsons School of Design’s studios. The installation presents physical and digital works from across the school within a handmade surface of collective creative intelligence.
